JCC Karate

The Karate program at the JCC promotes a non-violent life style, inner balance and discipline, and healthy exercise - so important in today’s world.

Taught by experienced instructors, we offer a variety of classes and schedules, designed to match your lifestyle.

For our youngest students, classes include kicking and blocking drills, other techniques promoting strength, balance, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination.  Students will gain self-confidence, flexibility and discipline from this class.

Our classes for older youth, teens and adults teach self-defense, punching, kicking, and blocking techniques in a safe, controlled atmosphere. The class improves flexibility and discipline while promoting self-confidence.

Unique to the JCC is our Parent/Child Karate class.  This program is designed for a sharing experience between parent and child which create a parental bond that will last for years. Can be mother/son, mother/daughter, father/daughter or father/son.

Please review our JCC Program Guide for a list of Karate classes and schedules, and to select the program that is right for you.
