JOE DESANTIS BASKETBALL PROGRAM @ the JCC
Joe DeSantis - former Fairfield University player, Second Round Draft Choice for the Washington Bullets, coach for Quinnipiac University, assistant coach for St Johns, Pittsburgh, and Fairfield University - now brings his program to the JCC.
Joe’s goals for our program at the JCC will be to help your child become a better player, and a better person. These goals will be achieved through the fun-filled, fair play of Basketball. Drills for skills, games, and competitions are designed around the needs of the children in the program, and with the conscious effort to get everyone involved.

MANNY TORRES BASEBALL ACADEMY @ the JCC
Manny Torres has been involved in baseball for the last 25 years. An all state player for St. Josephs High School, who went on to play for the University of Alabama, Manny later signed up as a free agent with the Cincinnati Reds. However, after tearing his rotator cuff for the second time, Manny was forced to find a new passion in life - teaching the sport he loves - Baseball.
Positive U Baseball Academy is a joint program with the JCC which provides youth with a structured and competitive environment in which to learn and play. This program is designed for players between the ages of 7-12. The developmental program will teach the fundamentals of baseball, but also offer a lesson on self discipline, teamwork, and respect.
